Marrakech without the clichés
As a French-Moroccan, I travel back to Marrakech regularly — and for a long time, I struggled to find the right places. Traditional travel guides often offer the same must-sees, the same tourist traps, and the same misconceptions about the city.
Le Guide Marrakech was born out of this frustration.
What this guide is not
- It is not an automated aggregator.
- It is not a sponsored list.
- It is not the postcard version of Marrakech.
What this guide is
A personal selection of authentic and contemporary places: restaurants blending tradition and modernity, riads run by locals, off-the-beaten-path activities, and road trips in the Atlas Mountains far from organized tours.
With a French-Moroccan perspective — neither that of a passing tourist, nor that of someone who has seen it all.
The goal: to give you the keys to experience Marrakech just like the locals do, while enjoying everything that makes it unique.
