About
Magnificent double riad hidden behind high walls in the heart of the medina. Rebuilt in the mid-19th century on the site of a 16th-century Saadian palace, it underwent a thorough restoration completed in the 2000s. It features two distinct gardens: an exotic garden with species from around the world and a traditional Islamic garden divided into four sacred quadrants. Restored underground water channels (khettaras) and one of the highest watchtowers in the medina make it a true jewel of Islamic architecture.
